Welcome!
Dear Readers,
Welcome to the launch of Prialto Post!
In December 2006, Tyler Dennis, Martin Lanner, and I got together to determine how to start a business that would align with our personal interests. The company we’ve started connects highly skilled, but underutilized knowledge workers in emerging markets with busy, high-achieving U.S. consumers.
The concept aligns perfectly with interests that have long driven us. Prialto is international, works across several geographies and cultures, and is developmentally oriented. The company also combines the benefits of strong organizational leadership, training, and team building with innovative productivity technology.
Unlike service-exchange platforms such as Elance that make connections similar to ours, Prialto provides careful training and focused service marketing. Our concentration on personal and front-office support allows us to build rich tools and processes to exceed service delivery expectations.
Since securing outside investment in the spring of this year, we have:
- Built a powerful technology platform that we call the Prialto Productivity Suite, a collection of tools that help our assistants and our Prialto members work together.
- Trained exceptional teams in Manila and Guatemala City.
- Provided services to a select group of over 30 hard-charging individuals in Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. Venture capital executives, management and IT consultants, and MBA students have benefited from our exceptional personal assistants and provided meaningful jobs for otherwise underemployed individuals.
We’ve established our blog as a way to share ideas within the Prialto productivity network, and to foster a community of like-minded individuals interested in personal leverage, remote assistant services, global development, and personal outsourcing.
Prialto’s mission is to improve life by connecting underutilized talent globally with the people who can best use it. Prialto’s blog is a forum for sharing ideas on how best to pursue this mission.
